Code Camp is Australia’s leading specialist school holiday and after-school provider We are looking for fun and energetic casual staff to assist at our creative-tech camps during the Summer school holidays.

**Are you**:

- Someone who enjoys working with kids (ages 6-12)?
- Passionate about technology and creativity?
- Trustworthy, independent, punctual and reliable?
- Able to work full days between 8am - 4pm during the school holidays **(20 December - Friday 27 January)**:

- Sometimes who considers themselves outgoing and confident to speak in front of groups of children?

**About the position**:

- Work as a team to deliver our coding lesson plan to a small class of primary aged children - the kids will come away with their very own 2D or 3D games
- We also offer Robotics + Web-Building camps
- Engage with the students in a fun and safe way inside and outside the classroom
- Keep in contact with Head Office if you have any questions or concerns
- Paid staff training provided

**Required Skills/Certifications**:
Whilst we don’t require a specific degree or coding experience, you should have some of the following experience (or similar):

- Beginner coding knowledge (especially in javascript or scratch)
- Experience working with young kids preferred
- Must be confident in speaking in front of a small group of children and delivering provided lesson plans in a fun and engaging way
- Mature outlook, common sense and ability to identify and take action to manage risk and ensure active supervision of children inside and outside the classroom
- Fluent conversational English

**Valid Employee Working With Vulnerable People registration **(or willing to obtain).

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

**Experience**:

- Teaching or IT: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Working with Children Check (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person
