**ABOUT GENTLE MONSTER**

**We are expanding and currently looking for an experienced Store Supervisor and Sales Associate team members (both Full-time and Part-time) to join us for our new location in Sydney CBD**

**SUPERVISOR - ABOUT THE ROLE**

Assists Store Management in driving the business to achieve maximum sales, productivity and profit goals through customer service, operational excellence, leadership, and communication, while supporting the Vision of Gentle Monster. This role is predominantly on the sales floor providing service, interacting with customers and associates.

**Key accountabilities**
- Delivering excellent customer service, ensuring highly visible and effective customer service management
- Ensures store compliance with company policy and procedures, taking a consistent approach with all sales associates
- Ensures brand image is presented consistent with visual merchandising and service expectations
- Minimizes loss by adhering to all loss prevention procedures, stockroom processing and replenishment procedures, and inventory management processes
- Maintains awareness of market trends in the eyewear industry, monitoring activity of local competitors
- Maintain a high level of grooming standards as per the brand grooming standards

**Qualifications and experience**
- Experience in a retail environment or related area
- Ability to adapt and multi-task in a fast-changing, retail environment
- Ability to develop, and motivate staff and others through strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Basic computer skills and software proficiency (MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook preferred)
- Open availability and flexibility to work nights, weekends, shop openings, and closings according to the airport retail operating hours

**SALES ASSOCIATES - ABOUT THE ROLE**

The Sales Associate is responsible for driving sales and providing exceptional customer service. We seek a passionate and self-motivated individual with an appreciation and understanding of fashion and individuality.

**Key accountabilities**
- Actively engage with customers by identifying needs, relaying product and brand information, and providing prompt assistance.
- Support an environment of teamwork, trust, and collaboration with peers, supervisors, and clientele.
- Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility to change to meet the needs of the business
- Actively participate in merchandising projects (i.e., daily stock maintenance, floor change, inventory)
- Complete daily operational tasks including maintenance of sales floor
- Assist Store Management and staff with driving store initiatives.
- Actively support securing company assets through effective Loss Prevention in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Demonstrates professional appearance and conduct; upholds the brand style and dress code.

**Required Skills & Experience**:

- Team Player
- A strong commitment to customer service and teamwork.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent brand and product knowledge.
- Flexibility to work a retail schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Experience in Luxury Retail/ Fashion / eyewear is a plus

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20-38 per week

**Salary**: $52,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
