**Laboratory Technician**

Residential Full Time Position

**About the Role**

previous Laboratory experience is required as training is provided.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Perform shift analysis duties under supervision;
- Prepare samples for analysis daily which include registration, splitting, crushing, pulverising and sizing in

accordance with procedures;
- Perform AAS and XRF analysis as per procedures;
- Adhere to laboratory procedures;
- Perform general housekeeping duties; and
- Perform any other tasks as directed by the Laboratory Management Team

- Must be able to work and communicate effectively within a shift team;
- Must be able to work on a shift roster 7 days on 7 days off, 7 nights on 7 nights off 12 hour shifts;
- Strong adherence to safe work practices and actively participate in workplace safety;
- Good mathematical comprehension and computer literacy
