Football Coach

Keilor Park Soccer Club is looking for football coaches to train and develop players in our Miniroos and Junior team divisions (from our U7's to U15 male and female teams) as part of our Development Program and ambitious plans to grow and expand the club in 2023. Previous experience coaching a football/soccer team is desirable as well as a relevant coaching accreditation. An enthusiasm for developing junior players is essential along with a supportive and encouraging attitude when communicating with young players.

Some of the responsibilities includes the ability to coach 10-15 players independently, set up and pack down of equipment for training, follow the club's session plans and adapt as required to grow and develop players, foster a transparent and open communication channel with parents of the team, coaches, Technical Director and other key members of the club, and ensure that the club's development plans/vision are brought to life.

The following availability is required in line with our training and game day schedule for the year, commencing in early February until end of September 2023:

- 2 training sessions over a weekday (could be either a Tuesday/Thursday or Wednesday/Friday from 5:30 pm till 7:00pm
- Game Day attendance - usually Sundays (ensure players are prepared, warmed up before the game)
- Attendance at some weekend pre/post season tournaments as required

You will require a current Working with Children / Working with Vulnerable People Check.
