**Overview**
- The Aboriginal Men's or Women's Mental Health Cultural Worker supports staff in the delivery of a comprehensive range of evidenced based, and recovery-oriented services appropriate to the needs of the consumer and their local community. The Aboriginal Mental Health Cultural Worker supports the delivery of culturally relevant and safe, integrated, accessible and equitable mental health care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander (ATSI) consumers in the Rural and Remote Mental Health Service beds at Glenside and assists with discharge planning.

The Aboriginal Mental Health Cultural Worker is an active member of mental health team supporting the development and maintenance of strong working relationships with a variety of individuals, groups and organisations, both internally and externally including local Regional Health Services, and other local ATSI individuals, groups and/or organisations.
