During your apprenticeship, you will be provided with mentoring while you complete on-the-job and off-the-job training. We will provide you with ongoing support to help you achieve your career goals.

**What will you be doing?**

An apprenticeship in plumbing equips you with the skills and knowledge to assemble, install and maintain water services, sanitary plumbing and sanitary drainage, gas, roofing and mechanical services in both existing and new constructions.

Our Host employer is a friendly family-owned business with commercial and residential clients across Adelaide.

You will undertake a variety of tasks, including:

installing plumbing equipment associated with heating, cooling, water distribution and sanitation systems
-performing preventative maintenance inspections
-carrying out maintenance and repairs
-evaluating and complying with local and national regulations

You must be team-oriented and passionate about developing your skills and knowledge.

**Does this sound like you?**

You may have undertaken Doorways to Construction at school, or already worked in the construction industry. Ideally you will also have:

The desire to work in the plumbing industry
-Your white card and a focus on health and safety
-A current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
-Experience as a team player who displays great initiative
-A positive attitude to new challenges
-Great communication skills and willingness to work alongside, and liaise with, colleagues and subcontractors at all levels
-An eye for detail and ability to comply with regulations
-Physical fitness with the capacity to bend, kneel, lift and carry materials
