- We are seeking an individual who is highly motivated to become part of a passionate and engaged team. Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Organisation of shift allocations to ensure adequate rostering to the requirements of the region
- Assist with the recruitment and training of Pathology Specimen Collectors
- Ensure best practice service standards are met in all locations
- Collection of blood and other samples from patients
- Packaging and dispatching of specimens, including stock and equipment maintenance
- Co-ordination of customer appointments and request details
- Ensuring adherence to Occupational Health and Safety and Quality Policies
**About you**
- To be considered for this position, you will need to have a great blend of skills, including:
- Demonstrated experience in all facets of Phlebotomy and the ability to supervise staff
- Deliver training with positive outcomes
- Excellent communication skills and intermediate computer experience
- Strong customer focus and accuracy with attention to detail
- A current full (unrestricted) driver licence is required
- Demonstrated ability to understand and adhere to policies and procedures and convey this knowledge to both existing and new employees
