**Position Description**

We are seeking a dedicated Service Technician
- Diesel Fitter to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role you will be responsible for the following:

- Carry out the total maintenance needs of all hire fleet assets to ensure the best possible returns on expenditure.
- Maintain the levels of all required materials and ensure the appropriate tools are in place and maintained ready for use.
- Contribute to optimum team performance and capability by providing quality workmanship to maintain and enhance the reliability of equipment.
- Conduct weekly/monthly scheduled service plans to maintain optimum fleet performance
- Timely and effectively carry out internal maintenance and repairs, customer site installations/removals
- Carry out effective troubleshooting to minimize downtime and unnecessary repair costs
- Ensure equipment and quality satisfaction is delivered in accordance with customer expectation
- Carry out all mechanical repairs and checking of company assets in accordance with the company’s policy
- Carry out maintenance on the fleet to ensure the fleet livery is in accordance with the company’s policy and is presented to the marketplace in a condition that delights customers.
- Maintain and enhance relationships and communication with internal and external customers
- Provide technical support to the Sales Team when required

**About You**

To be successful in obtaining this role, you will have:

- Proven experience as Diesel Fitter (at least 3 years).
- Qualified Mechanic with Australian mechanic’s license.
- Australian Driver’s License.
- Forklift License an Advantage.
- MR Truck License Advantage.
- Computer literacy

**Salary**

If successful, you will be paid a salary of $90,000 per annum.

Pay: $90,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
