Our client offers a wide range of certificate level courses which include environmental management and conservation, business management and hospitality. They are committed to providing top-notch vocational education to tertiary students and in the high school sector.

They are now seeking an accomplished education professional with a passion for shaping the future of vocational training and high school student courses to become their next Faculty Head.

**The Role**:
As a Faculty Head, you will play a pivotal role in leading the educational and administrative activities within the institute. You will be entrusted with the responsibility of crafting an engaging and relevant curriculum that equips students with practical skills and knowledge for success in their chosen fields.

**About you**
- Proven track record of educational leadership, preferably in vocational training or high school education system.
- Strong understanding of curriculum development, instructional design, and assessment strategies.
- Strong administrative skills including well developed financial literacy

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Curriculum Innovation**: Spearhead the development of innovative and industry-relevant curriculum for vocational training and high school student courses, ensuring alignment with the latest trends and requirements.
- **Academic Excellence**: Foster a culture of academic excellence by collaborating with a team of dedicated educators to provide high-quality instruction and mentorship.
- **Student Success**: Champion student success by implementing strategies that support their learning journey, from recruitment to graduation and beyond.
- **Staff Leadership**: Provide inspirational leadership to faculty members, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment that encourages professional growth and development.
- **Industry Partnerships**: Establish and nurture partnerships with industry stakeholders to ensure that our programs remain up-to-date and relevant in a rapidly evolving job market.
- **Resource Management**: Oversee efficient allocation of resources, including faculty, facilities, and technology, to optimize the learning experience.
- **Performance Evaluation**: Implement a robust system for assessing and evaluating faculty performance, instructional methodologies, and student outcomes.

**To be successfully considered you must have**:

- Relevant degree or higher to enable you to effectively discharge the responsibilities of this senior role
- Knowledge of environmental and biological sciences will be highly regarded
- A minimum of 5 years or more work experience at the same or higher level as this role, or agreed equivalent qualification
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills.
- Ability to think creatively and strategically in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to fostering an inclusive and diverse learning environment.

As well as working in an empowering student friendly modern environment and company culture, **on offer is a salary widely negotiable in the range $70k to $90k** plus superannuation to properly reflect your skills and experience.
