**The Company**
Robert Half is currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to start immediately on a 4-month temporary contract.
The position has become available as the organisation head into their busiest time of year. You will be joining a well-respected employer of choice in their industry, offering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
With an outstanding office location in the heart of the CBD, you will also benefit from the flexibility to work from home 3 days per week.
**The Role**
Working within a friendly team environment your varied role will include:
- Process invoices in Xero and manage bank funding.
- Managing invoice and purchase order approval system
- Process foreign currency payments.
- Reconciliation and payment of corporate credit cards.
- Petty cash reconciliation
- Managing supplier accounts
- Managing the accounts inbox - internal and external invoice and payment queries
- Support month
- and year-end activities as requested by the Financial Accountant
**Your Profile**
To be successful in this role you will have previous experience within a high-volume transactional finance environment. You will have excellent communication skills coupled with the ability to work effectively with both patients and internal team members.
You will need to be systems savvy and be able to pick up new and complex systems quickly. You will need to be able to commence at short noticed and be prepared/able to travel to their offices in the CBD 2 days per week.
