We are currently looking for motivated **Mandarin Speaking** support workers (**1 male & 1 female**) in the Homebush area to support our mental health participants. As a DSW at Care Metaz Global, you will have the flexibility to choose your hours of work as we have a variety of hours to offer, access to training and guidance from our management. **About you**:

- **Speaks Mandarin**:

- Ideally you have experience in an aged care, SIL (supported independent living), IHC (In-Home Care), or Community Support setting and supporting high needs participants
- You must enjoy getting to know people.
- Excellent English language verbal and written communication skills.
- A 'can-do attitude, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn.
- You are punctual and reliable.
- You can think independently and outside the box to resolve problems.
- You can take direction to work autonomously or as part of a team.
- Experience providing Individualized support and personal care to participants with complex health needs including manual handling, PEG feeding, and pressure area care
- Medication Administration
- Experience supporting participants who have a mild to complex psycho-social (mental health) or intellectual disability.
- Minimum Certificate III of the relevant qualification or suitable work experience in mental health or disability support.

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- Must be able to speak **Mandarin**:

- Have rights to work in Australia with no restrictions on hours
- Hold an NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Hold current police check certificate (or be prepared to get one)
- A current First Aid Certificate (or be prepared to get one)
- Hold a current driver’s license and your own fully registered & insured vehicle
- Infection Control Training for Covid-19
- Working With Children's Check (if applicable)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
