As a key member of the Wabtec Control Systems Team, the purpose of the Signalling Installation Supervisor/Leading Hand is to manage, coordinate and complete signalling installations both in the factory and during site works.

**Responsibilities**:

- Promote and ensure the appropriate standards of health, safety and environmental management are adhered to;
- Conduct on site Pre-Starts every morning prior to commencement work to plan out the days installation activities;
- Liaise with the safeworking personnel to coordinate the planned works;
- Coordinate installation staff to complete the required installation works in the most efficient manner;
- Report in the site diary at the end of each day summarizing the works performed and hours worked by all staff;
- Identification and escalation of any issues identified to the Project/Construction Manager;
- Completion of all required safety documentation
- Assist in the completion of the testing & commissioning works on direction from the Tester in Charge

Qualifications and Skills
- Electrical Licence
- Level 1 Track Safety Induction
- Construction Card
- Current Drivers Licence
