**About the role**
- The Consultant provides clinical leadership within a team in the provision of high quality Plastic and Reconstructive surgical care at TQEH, overseen by the department Head of Unit. The consultant is expected to provide supervision and teaching of junior surgeons, as well as to initiate research and development projects and quality assurance programs associated with plastic and reconstructive surgery.

The consultant takes part in an out of hours on call roster.

**Qualifications**
- Appropriate Specialist Qualifications for Consultant/Senior Consultant (Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery) registrable as a Specialist with the Medical Board of Australia (Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery).

**Essential Requirements**:

- Current National Police Clearance (NPC)
- Working with Children Check
