**About the Role**

We are seeking an Assistant Strategic Planner to join our Contributions Planning Team. In this role you will implement contributions plans, planning agreements and other policies and administrative protocols in line with relevant legislation. The successful applicant will need to demonstrate their competency for the position by meeting the following essential criteria:

- Working towards a Degree qualification in Town planning Social Planning, Engineering, or related discipline.
- An understanding of urban planning and infrastructure provision.
- Base knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation.
- Ability to communicate, influence and negotiate effectively with all levels of Council and the community.
- Ability to efficiently assess, negotiate and problem solve planning proposals and other strategic planning processes.
- Current NSW Class C Driver’s Licence.
