About the Role
Our Merchandise Planners plan and coordinate our global buy volumes, allocation execution and promotes process improvements and project delivery. They support our business with margin insights and ensure the buy is completed to optimum stock levels.

**Major areas of responsibility will include**:

- Generating and executing allocation plans that help drive sales and maintain optimal stock levels across all channels
- Monitoring stock levels at a systems level and logístically overseeing product delivery and distribution
- Ensuring allocations are updated in line with revisions to business needs
- Monitoring sell-through and managing markdown strategy in line with the product lifecycle
- Effectively liaising with suppliers to meet deadlines and business requirements
- Monitoring geographic, market, competitor, store profiles, past sales and statistical trends to recommend design, buying and allocation strategies to maximize business opportunities
- Reviewing buy and allocation decisions through constant monitoring of sales, profit and sell through
- Identifying opportunities to increase sales through changes in product allocation to react to adjustments in sales targets, market influence and customer demand
- Reporting on sell through from previous collections providing clear findings and recommendations
- Requesting and collating feedback from all channels for future allocations

**Profile**:
You will have experience in a planning role, with complementary advanced skills in Excel and reporting. Prior experience in a retail environment would be highly regarded. You will have a tertiary qualification in Business, Finance or Logistics, and a results-driven person. You pride yourself in your customer service, and relationship and rapport building skills. You have excellent time management skills and an excellent communicator.
