**About the position**:
Our Community Support Services Manager leads the delivery of significant services to older people living independently in the community. Working in collaboration with the Community Support Services - Strategy and Governance Manager, the role includes management of operational aspects of the business: guiding day to day delivery of quality services; managing customer and staff matters; maintaining assets, such as the community transport fleet; and facilitating adaptation to emerging service needs. **About you**:

- You will be an energetic community services practitioner, who has the capabilities and attributes to lead delivery of services to older people living independently in their local community. You will be committed to enablement and empowerment of our service customers and to working with the Community Support Services - Strategy and Governance Manager to build a shared direction, approaches to practice and ‘can do’ culture with your team.
- You’ll have worked within a service context where accountability for the achievement of clearly defined outcomes, to meet the terms of an external contract, is part of your remit. You will balance your keen business sense with your commitment to social justice. You will be able to inspire your team to focus on delivering quality services here and now, while preparing the service for the future. You’ll welcome new challenges and have the courage to raise and overcome new issues as they arise.

- 1. Outline your relevant tertiary qualification and extensive experience relevant to the position. Please include any experience you have in community care planning and development across multiple dimensions, including community transport, social support services and working with volunteers.
