Claims Management Officer

Who are we partnering with?
u&u is partnering with a large insurance company to recruit multiple claims management officers. You will work Monday
- Friday between the hours of 7am and 7pm, plus the occasional weekend (either Saturday or Sunday). You will work a total of 38 hours per week.
You will be available to start immediately and able to commit to a minimum of 3 months. There is the possibility the contract will be extended or become permanent beyond the initial 3-month period.
**The Role**:
**In this role, you will be responsible for**:
Handling high volumes of inbound calls;
Assessing information provided by the customer;
Liaising with third parties and vendors;
Providing excellent customer service;
Using your initiative to solve problems;
Being empathetic and remaining calm under pressure; and
Ensuring quality and compliance at all times.
**About You**:
**To be considered for this role, you will have**:
Previous experience in a call centre/ inbound environment will be highly regarded;
Other customer service experience such as hospitality and retail may be considered;
Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport over the phone;
Proactive attitude and a willingness to learn; and
Comfortable using MS Office and picking up new IT systems quickly and efficiently.
As part of the onboarding process, you may be required to undertake background checks including a police check.
