We have an exciting opportunity to join our Operations Performance team in WA as a **Contract Optimisation Manager** for our growing Energy and Resources Division. This **full time** role will be based at our **Balcatta** office.

Reporting into the Head of Contract Optimisation, the focus of the role will be across the key areas of:

- Implementation of best practice processes and reporting for the management of the Top 10 Operating Fundamentals (day-to-day operations) within the Resources division
- Working with the Head of Contract Optimisation and the Resources Division to implement control mechanisms across different levels & functions of the Segment to ensure compliant, cost effective and profitable hours management
- Establish calculated/ budgeted hours and detailed reporting for every Resources Key Account
- Proactive workforce management, in collaboration with the Resources Operations Team

In further detail, the day to day operations are broken down into the four areas of:

- Holiday planning - (winter, Easter, summer, etc) - ensuring work plans are adjusted to save costs during customer holiday periods.
- Hours management and overtime - Measuring delivered hours against budgeted hours at site-level.
- Sickness management - Help identify trends in sick absenteeism and help reduce related costs.
- Temporary staff management - making sure existing site teams absorb absenteeism and eliminate or minimise use of temporary workers.

**What will you possess to be successful**:

- As you will be in constant contact with the operations across the contract, you will need to display excellent influencing and communication skills
- Experience in leading change management projects
- Proficient in the use of digital systems and programs for the analysis, reporting and management of Business, with a sound demonstrated commercial acumen
- Solid experience with standardisation of processes, experience in development, optimisation and audit processes
- Experience in the use of time and attendance & payroll systems desired but not essential
