We are very excited in building their DC Management & Supervisor team, located at their national distribution centre based in Truganina. We are ready to hire experienced and dynamic Warehouse Shift Managers, one on the afternoon shift and one on the night shift. These are not rotating shifts.
- PM Shift works from 3pm -11.06pm. Night Shift commences at 10.00pm - 6.06amWhat does the role look like?
- Oversee and coordinate daily warehouse operations to the highest standard- Ensuring the efficiency of warehouse operations by managing, coaching, and developing staff in your team through the effective use of KPIs and people management strategies- Resolve any order-related issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction- Provide weekly reporting of agreed DC metrics and be actively involved in weekly meetings- Ensure safety compliance, maintaining a safe work environment for all warehouse personnel.- Recruit, train, and mentor warehouse staff to build a skilled and motivated team- Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, monitor performance, and provide regular feedback and performance evaluations- Foster a positive work culture that promotes teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.What do we need from you?
- Proven success in leading and developing large and diverse operational teams- Positive can-do attitude with the ability to motivate staff- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in a similar role- Proficiency in using warehouse management software and other relevant tools.- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.- Demonstrated commitment to safety and compliance.- Has initiative and works well within a team environment as well as individually.Our client believes in nurturing talent, fostering growth, and recognizing achievements.
