Our team, working in the Dispute Resolution & Litigation/ Restructuring & Insolvency space, in Adelaide are looking for a motivated and conscientious law student to join them in an established and recognised practice.

As a law clerk you will be working with leading lawyers on a daily basis. The team were recently recognised in The Legal 500 Asia-Pacific: Restructuring and insolvency, 2023 edition as _‘exceptional practitioners who are both extremely knowledgeable on the law, and the commercial realities of our profession, working collaboratively to identify and implement effective and efficient legal strategies’. _The team was also recognised in the Doyle’s Guide as Recommended for Leading Commercial Litigation & Dispute Resolution Lawyers and also Leading Insolvency & Restructuring Lawyers in the 2021-2023 editions.

Working with us as a clerk presents the opportunity for you to be mentored and coached by very experienced lawyers Our Clerkship Program aims to build a strong pipeline of rising talent and is ongoing in nature, working a minimum of two days per week throughout your studies. You will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in real legal work and be exposed to a collaborative learning environment which encourages you to balance and blend your university studies with work experience.

**The role**

As a clerk in this team, you will be working with a Partner and Senior Associate providing legal solutions for corporations, firms and private individuals. You will also act for administrators, liquidators, receivers and trustees you and you will-initially:

- support our clients to achieve commercial outcomes;
- conduct legal research for current matters;
- prepare briefs to counsel and documents for court hearings.

Working in a small team you will have the opportunity to work with highly motivated professionals and learn from their years of experience to build your own expertise in a supported environment.

**To succeed in this role**
- You will ideally be a 3rd or 4th year Law Student
- Have a developing interest in commercial litigation, restructuring and insolvency
- Have customer service experience, in a banking or insurance company preferable
- Be hard working, be a team player, have high attention to detail and a strong willingness to learn
