Temporary Teacher

**Position Descriptor**:
This position involves teaching a Physics and Mathematics to year 12. Applicants must have experience successfully teaching Year 12 Physics and an ability to teach International Baccalaureate Diploma classes and supervise International Baccalaureate extended essays. All staff are expected to deliver 21st century teaching, interdisciplinary and challenge-based learning in all classes with the integration of learning technologies (including DayMap, Google and online platforms) to personalise learning and enrich the delivery of face to face curriculum. This teacher is expected to use relevant data to inform their practice and use explicit strategies to check for understanding, seeking student feedback to inform teaching and incorporate targeted interventions. This teacher must have the skills in working in a contemporary multicultural environment with excellent strategies to support the development of a wide range of students including EALD learners, students with disabilities and international students. This teacher would be expected to contribute to the co-curricular program related to their learning area (eg Science Competitions, STEM activities and our club culture)
