Position Title Head of Enrolments

Status Full-time ongoing role

4 weeks annual leave

Out of hours work including evening and weekends will be required from
time to time. This may include overseas, intra and interstate travel.

Reporting to Director of Marketing and Community Engagement

Role Description
The Head of Enrolments is responsible for planning, managing and implementing all enrolment and admissions
activities of the School. They will be responsible for designing and executing recruitment strategies for both local,
regional and overseas markets, analysing enrolment patterns, and building relationships with current and prospective
families to maintain optimal enrolments.

The Head of Enrolments is the main point of contact for all prospective families from ELC to Year 12 and plays a key
role in the School’s marketing and community engagement strategy. Key relationships include the Principal, Heads of
School, Head of Boarding, Director of ELC, and Director of Finance and Corporate Services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
General
- Support the Anglican ethos of the School.

- Comply with School policies and procedures and the Walford Staff Code of Behaviour.
- Embody the School’s commitment to child safety and actively contribute to creating and maintaining a child
- safe environment.- Be an active member of relevant professional organisations and engage in relevant professional learning.
- Actively build the profile of the School within and beyond the community, serving as an ambassador for

Walford.

Enrolments
- Manage the enrolment process for all ELC to Year 12 students from enquiry through to commencement

including the administration of all enrolment documentation.
- Provide a seamless and welcoming enrolment experience by providing timely, tailored responses to all

enrolment activities and enquiries.
- Design and lead individual and group tours that promote the School in the best possible way. Coordinate

the involvement of staff as required.
- Organise trial mornings/days for future students, liaising with appropriate staff.
- Design and execute the orientation program and ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new families,

uniform fittings/requirements, etc.
- Maintain a current understanding of the School’s key points of difference, operations, curriculum, co
- curricular activities and future plans in order to provide prospective families with the most accurate and
appropriate information.
- Oversee the School’s Scholarship offerings and manage the promotion, enquiries and processing of
- Assist the Director of ELC in promoting Playgroup and enrolment in to the ELC, and support with the

processing of payments.
International Enrolments
- Manage the enrolment process for international students and adhere to all admissions procedures that

educational assessments such as AEAS, and liaise with local English Language schools and International
Student groups such as Study Adelaide.

2024
- Build and maintain relationships with parents and international agents, including implementing and revisiting

agent agreements.
- Oversee and ensure compliance with Federal and State, CRICOS and ESOS requirements, and ensure all

material is up to date in accordance with any legislative and/or policy changes.
- Ensure all information entered into PRISMS is accurate and new students are added in a timely manner.

Marketing, Communication and Events
- Conduct research to identify and develop a presence in new and existing local, regional and overseas

markets and establish relationships with key stakeholders to raise Walford’s profile in these regions.
- Work with the Director of Marketing and Community Engagement to develop enrolment strategies to

including local, regional, national and international.
- Coordinate and attend Field Days, New Parent Events and other recruitment events.
- Nurture prospects’ ongoing connection to the School through regular communication and events.
- Work with the Director of Marketing and Community Engagement to design promotional advertisements
- and display materials.- Ensure enrolment promotional materials, including the enrolment contract and fee schedule, are up to date,
- in stock and distributed in a timely manner.- Organise marketing visits/material for overseas destinations to promote boarding.
- Ensure that the Walford website is regularly updated with relevant admissions and promotional information
- and ensure internal communication of key information as required.- Ensure school activities and initiatives are appropriately promoted and communicated to prospective
- families.- Articulate and promote a compelling business case for why Walford is the girls’ school of choice.
- Ensure consistent articulation of the School’s desired image and branding both within and outside of the

School.
