HR Assistant

Human resources experience (including systems/database administration) recruitment, or payroll.
- Customer service experience.
- High school or equivalent diploma.

Come build the future with us The HR Assistant is both a strategic and hands-on role that provides Human Resources support to our Fulfilment Centre (FC) associates. The role is critical in executing our people initiatives, providing great internal customer support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement. This position will be based at our Moorebank Fulfilment Centre (FC), reporting to the Senior Human Resources Business Partner. Our operations are large scale and operate 7 days a week, the role will be Full-time and work in shifts. What you will be doing: - Support employees across a broad range of human resources, benefits, and payroll topics. - Ensure that employee documentation is complete and accurate. - Acts as a Subject Matter Expert for customers, escalates as appropriate. - Provides training and guidance on policies, processes, and systems to customers and team members. - Creates and distributes standard communications - Audits and analyses key findings. - Leads process improvement initiatives. Develops suggestions for improvements to maximise value of resources.
- Degree in HR or a related field (completed or in progress).
- High-volume administration experience (including systems/database administration).
- Experience of working with hourly paid employees.
- Knowledge of basic employment law and HR / Payroll practices.
