Mount Compass Golf Course is located in the heart of the Fleurieu Peninsula, an easy 50 minute drive from the Adelaide CBD and 20 minutes from Victor Harbor.

A ‘Golf Digest’ Top 100 course and recently the 38th ranked public access golf course in Australia, the course is quickly becoming popular due to its beautiful undulating surfaces that are maintained to a high standard. The challenging par 71 course has 84 demanding bunkers and, measuring over 5900 meters, is a true test of golfing ability.

We are seeking a Greenkeeper looking for a new challenge. They will be assisting with all aspects of course preparation and maintenance along with the long-term strategic plan for the course.

The successful applicant will work in conjunction with 3 full-time experienced grounds staff, managing and enhancing their skills in grounds preparation and maintenance, landscaping, machinery maintenance, and irrigation installation/repair. The role reports directly to the Course Superintendent.
- **Key Responsibilities**_
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate their ability to undertake and successfully implement the following key functions and responsibilities:

- Participate in preparation and maintenance of all aspects of the golf course to the highest possible standard.
- Participate in irrigation system operation, maintenance, and repair.
- Keep accurate records of machinery and equipment maintenance and develop a replacement/up-grade programme for consideration by the Superintendent/Director.
- Encourage and direct club volunteers working on the course.
- Oversee adherence to Work Health and Safety policies and procedures.

- Able to inspire others to achieve high productivity and efficiency levels.
- Able to work flexible hours when required.

A keen interest in the game of golf and proven experience in providing high quality surfaces at an equivalent golf course is anticipated.

Remuneration will be award-based and dependent on relevant skills, qualifications, and experience with a package option to be discussed.
