**The Opportunity**
Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) Services team are seeking an experienced Aviation Maintenance (145 / MRO) Professionals to support the RSAF CH-47F (SG) Chinook Maintenance and Logistics Support Program.
The Program is located at the Army Aviation Centre Oakey, Queensland in support of a Boeing Defence Australia customer.
**Your Day**
No two days are the same, but here is an example of what activities you can expect to undertake:
- Aircraft Flight Servicing's (B/F, A/F & TA)
- Aircraft Towing operations
- Aircraft refueling & Defueling
- Aircraft launch & recovery operations
- Assist in Aircraft inspections, standard servicing's and rectifications
- Preparation, inspection and use of aircraft and ground support equipment
- Administer the use of technical instructions/data and Aircraft Maintenance Documentation
Aerospace Workers (AW) employed in this role will be at the AW2 or AW3 level, depending on the time taken to meet task authorisation requirements, level of experience in the Aviation Industry and any Aviation qualifications/training held.
**Accountabilities**
- Reporting to the assigned Maintenance Operations Manager
- Liaising with Boeing, RSAF and other Industry teams involved in maintenance operations at Oakey
- Ability to work in a team environment
**Essential Experience / Qualifications**
- Applicants must be an Australian Citizen
- A high level of verbal and written communication skills
- Possess an Australian Baseline Defence security clearance or the ability to obtain
**Desirable Experience / Qualifications**
- Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Avionics/Mechanical), including theory only completed, or Certificate II in Aircraft Line Maintenance
- Previous experience in an Aerospace environment
- Valid open drivers licence
