**The opportunity**:
We have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic, self-motivated FP&A Analyst to join our dynamic and engaging, full-function Finance team on a 6 month, fixed-term contract (running to mid/late January 2024).

The FP&A Analyst will work with our wider FP&A team to produce regular and ad hoc financial reports for our portfolio of globally recognised fitness brands (including Goodlife Health Clubs, Fitness First Australia, Barrys, and Zap Fitness 24/7).

Reporting directly to our FP&A Manager, this role would be suitable for an individual with prior experience in the FP&A space, in an analyst capacity.

**About you**:
This role would suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, you will be highly data driven with an ability to analyse and communicate sometimes complex financial information. You will enjoy working as part of a team but have the ability to show autonomy to achieve deadlines.

**Key duties and responsibilities include**:

- Prepare regular financial and statistical reports on an ongoing and month end basis
- Assist with Creation, update & maintain models for the business in support of their needs
- Month-end analysis and distribution of reports. Further, support to the business in interpretation of those and suggestions for improvements
- Liaising with the operational leadership team where required
- Provide support of the rest of the FP&A team

**Qualifications and Experience**:
Essential
- Prior experience in an FP&A role
- Knowledge of analytical tools
- CA/CPA qualified (or studying towards)
- Accounting degree
- A good understanding of complex spreadsheet models and interpretation, and accounting principles
- A strong ability to analyse and communicate financial information and large datasets
- Ability to manipulate data through advanced knowledge of excel

Desirable
- Experience with TM1 (IBM Analytics)
