**Summary**

Responsible for the collation, monitoring, support and control of all ANZ domestic and replenishment freight for Baxter Healthcare in line with the Company Chain of Responsibility requirements. Leverage industry and Baxter Regional best practices to drive cost and service improvements in line with the broader Integrated Supply Chain strategy.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Govern and administer Freight Management Systems and associated database information to ensure full optimisation, utilisation and compliance to CoR legislation and requirements
- Maintain and manage Freight Cost Allocation system and report on freight performance, identify trend, propose and execute cost actions, including invoice processing.
- Support on shipping requirements - bookings, sailing schedules, changes and rates
- Liaise and support internal and external stakeholder queries related to transport service issue and initiate appropriate recovery action as required and develop preventative solution
- Support management on preparation, execution and adherence to transport budget, and prepare data and accruals for financial month end requirements
- Liaise with local & regional Planning & Fulfilment partners in managing the Homecare, Direct Freight and replenishment delivery run routing to ensure maximum utilisation of vehicles to allow meeting the demands of our customers both internally and externally balanced with cost effective solutions.
- Support Load Optimisation order entry requirements and activities when required
- Assist and review invoicing for Inbound or domestic freight payment. Escalate where required to resolve issues and/or implement solutions.
- Update & maintain Job Instruction Breakdowns (JIBs) / SLA for specific delivery requirements
- Ensure Environmental, Health & Safety is considered and applied under the applicable guidelines.

**EHS & GMP Responsibilities (Individual Contributor)**

- Report all hazards, near misses and incidents as soon as practicable and participate in identifying actions to prevent harm from occurring to our people and/or our environment

- Ensure compliance with government regulations, legal documents and safety and ethical standards, obtaining legal compliance training.

**EHS Responsibilities (People Leader)**

- Ensure compliance with legal and corporate EHS requirements, safe work practices and EHS policies and procedures at all times
- Ensure all hazards, near misses and incidents are reported and investigated to identify root cause and ensure actions implemented to prevent harm from occurring to our people and/or our environment
- Ensure all employees trained to perform their roles safely and any regulatory-based training is completed as required

**Qualifications, Experience & Skills**

**Qualifications**
- APICs training, Certificate Logistics or relevant industry experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

**Experience**
- Logistics. Transportation Co ordination
- ERP/FMS system experience
- Experience in inventory in-transit tracking and freight understanding

**Skills/Technical**
- Strong relationship development and conflict resolution
- Adaptability and flexibility when faced with challenges.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficiency with ERP business software
