Mpm Supervisor

Sydney Water have partnered with Delivering 4 Customers (D4C) to deliver; design, construct, maintenance and facilities management services as part of the P4S program in Sydney Water's Southern Region of Sydney.
D4C is a consortium comprising of John Holland, Service Stream and WSP. We will provide long term employment opportunities to diversify the skills of the people of the southern region of Sydney as well as creating pathways to enter the water industry.
D4C is seeking a MPM Supervisor to join their expanding team to deliver excellence in the water project program of works across the Southern Region.
What this role will entail?
Coordinate on-site direct wages employees, plant resources and subcontractor to deliver relevant scopes of work in accordance with project plans and specifications to achieve effective performance in accordance with detailed short-term programs and schedules within the designated time and budget. Implement site safety, quality and environment control and identify and assess potential risks.
As a MPM Supervisor, you'll be leading a program of works and joining at the start of a 10-year project. Your day-to-day tasks will include but are not limited to:
Provide and take leadership responsibility in health, safety and environment management.
Contribute to development of work methods and rolling short term construction programs and plan daily/weekly production work.
Build strong internal and external stakeholder management through positive, proactive and professional communication to keep key personnel informed.
Complete progress reporting, and activities, reports for shift handovers and consistent regular reporting to the Construction Lead.
Ensure compliance of commercial and financial costs including budgets and the implications of directions within your authority limits
Read and understand plans, review design documentation, read drawings, and provide constructive review and implementing of final designs
Identify and mitigate risks prior to works commencing, communicate with and engage relevant stakeholders to control risk and contribute to build a risk management culture.

**Essential Requirements**:
Trade Qualification or Similar
2-5 years previous construction experience in a similar role.
Substantial Industry experience in Trade and Construction
Technical competency and understanding in the area that supervising
Demonstrated leadership in health, safety, quality and environmental management
Client relationship and stakeholder management experience
Highly competent with MS office
Drivers licence
