**Role Details**:
Safer Family Services (SFS) are seeking a Supervisor, Child Wellbeing to join the Southern Region on a full-time basis.

The role is responsible for:

- Developing and participating in local, regional and state-wide networks with a broad range of stakeholders to identify service gaps and vulnerable populations and implementing joint solutions as a community response to child safety and wellbeing matters.
- Providing consultation on complex, contentious and highly sensitive cases to maintain compliance with legislative requirements and related government and departmental policies and procedures.
- Provide professional leadership, development and supervision to a specialist team in the development of operational program objectives and goals.

**About You**

We are looking for a motivated leader who has experience in leading and guiding a specialist team.

You will have knowledge and experience to understand and evaluate the factors that contribute to client/family risk and develop action plans to reduce or eliminate the risks.

You will also have strong interpersonal and communication skills to develop effective working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.

**Essential Qualifications**:
**AHP**:
An appropriate degree or equivalent which gives eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
An appropriate degree or equivalent qualification and general registration with the Psychology Board of Australia.
Registration must be obtained prior to commencement in position.National Police Check required.
Employment-related Screening Check required.
Some interstate and intrastate travel may be required.
Must hold a current Australian issued driver’s licence (equivalent to minimum class C).
Covid -19 - will be required to be up to date on their COVID-19 vaccination status prior to engagement with DHS, unless it would be medically unsafe for the employee to do so.
