**Description**:
The opportunity.
Reporting to the Information Security Manager, this position directly supports our purpose and ensures our members can count on us by ensuring the protection of the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the bank's information assets.
**This position is accountable for**:

- Supporting the operation of the ISMS to ensure compliance with regulators and to protect information assets.
- Deploying security technologies and controls.
- Managing security changes to operational systems.
- Reviewing vulnerability assessment data and supporting deployment and remediation activities.
- Configuration and management of SIEM, collectors and logging.
- Reviewing and analysing security logs.
- Conducting security investigations on events, managing and responding to incidents.
- Maintaining awareness of threats to the bank’s assets.
- Enhancing our security awareness program and establishing security baselines for infrastructure.
- Developing and updating security documentation.
- Providing support to Information Security Manager and Head of Information Security and Cyber Security Governance Risk and Compliance functions.

**Skills and Experiences**:
About you.
To be considered for this role, you will have proven experience as a Cyber Security Analyst or a similar role. You hold a relevant tertiary qualification and at least one of the following certifications:

- CompTIA Security+
- GIAC Security Essentials

Additionally, you have experience working with industry security standards, such as:

- ISO27001
- NIST
- PCI-DSS

You are skilled in using cyber security management tools, including:

- SIEM (Security Information and Event Management)
- EPP (Endpoint Protection Platforms)
- Web Gateways
- Data Protection tools
- Identity Protection tools
