**Job Title: Event Staff**

**Event Dates and Times**:

- Thursday, May 16th: Approximately 4:00 PM - 7:45 PM
- Friday, May 17th: 4:00 PM - 8:05 PM
- Saturday, May 18th: 1:00 PM - 5:30 PM / 7:45 PM
- Sunday, May 19th: 12:00 PM - 4:05 PM / 6:25 PM

Suncorp Stadium, 40 Castlemaine St, Milton QLD 4064

We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Event Staff to assist with a series of events from May 16th to May 19th. As Event Staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of various activities and providing exceptional customer service to event attendees.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet event attendees in a friendly and professional manner.
- Provide information about the event schedule, locations, and activities to attendees.
- Assist with event setup and breakdown, including but not limited to arranging signage, setting up booths, and organizing event materials.
- Monitor event areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are maintained.
- Direct attendees to different areas of the event venue as needed.
- Assist with crowd control and manage lines or queues as necessary.
- Handle inquiries and address any issues or concerns raised by attendees promptly and effectively.
- Collaborate with other event staff and coordinators to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently.
- Attend a 45-minute briefing session online prior to the event dates to familiarize yourself with event details and expectations.
- Participate in an in-person briefing session on the day of each event for additional instructions and guidance.

**Requirements**:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable and punctual with a professional demeanor.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Prior experience in customer service or event coordination is preferred but not required.
- Must be at least 18 years old.

**Compensation**:

- Competitive hourly rate commensurate with experience.
- Opportunities for future event staffing roles based on performance.

**Salary**: $32.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- MILTON, QLD 4064: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person
