Fx Supervisor

Luma Melbourne is looking for a FX Supervisor to join our growing team.

**You Can**:

- Supervise and mentor a team of FX artists across all levels
- Translate creative and technical direction for the production into specific direction for shots and sequences
- Set up FX rigs as required
- Complete shot work where required
- Help drive the pipeline and technical direction of the overall FX department in both studio locations
- Ensure the ongoing training and development of FX Artists

**You Have**:

- Minimum of 3 years experience as an FX supervisor on VFX feature films
- Expert knowledge of Houdini
- A thorough understanding of the visual effects process and the ability to interpret the artistic brief from the VFX Supervisor
- A proven ability to ensure artist's work is of the highest standard on both technical and creative levels
- Experience with conceptual look development and rapid prototyping for FX
- Ability to motivate a team
- Excellent organizational, communication and project management skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment
- An approachable, positive and professional manner
- A proactive and problem solving attitude
