The Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission (VGCCC) is an independent statutory authority which regulates Victoria's gambling industry. The Opportunity
The Manager, Investigations is a leadership position in the Gambling Division, reporting to the Director, Gambling Division. The role manages a team responsible for undertaking complex, sensitive and significant breaches of legislation or systemic non-compliance issues. This leadership role requires contemporary investigatory, advanced risk management and people leadership expertise to ensure the VGCCC executes its legislative and governance obligations applicable to the non-Casino gambling industry. The Manager, Investigations will guide and support their teams to conduct complex and sensitive investigations, implement best practice and contemporary regulatory approaches in relation to the operational responsibilities of the Division.

Key responsibilities
- Effectively lead and develop the Investigations Team, build a positive culture, and deliver results
- Lead the effective operations of the Investigations Team and identify and prioritise current and emerging risks to the gambling industry
- Manage and conduct complex and sensitive probity, internal and other investigations relating to legislation and regulations, and prepare investigative reports and briefs.
- Provide authoritative written and verbal advice for management, executive and the Commission
