**About the role**

As Field Worker in the Roads and Drainage team you will complete routine maintenance work on the city’s road network.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

- General maintenance on sealed roads
- Operate and maintain machinery and equipment
- Work as part of a team and contribute to team workplans

**About you**

To be successful in this role you will have:

- Current C Class Licence
- Current MR licence would be advantageous
- Experience in civil construction or a similar field
- Experience working in a faced paced work environment
- A community focus and the ability to be be agile, resilient and passionate
- Belief in our values of communication, collaboration, integrity, efficiency, and leadership

This position is required to undertake a pre-employment medical (including drug and alcohol testing).

**About the benefits**

This is a fixed-term position for 6 months, LGE Level 2 - 4, with a salary commencing at $61,723 plus superannuation of up to 12.5%, leave loading and 9 day fortnight.
