**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist with the procurement, storage, distribution and dispensing of all medicines and consumables including those used in the preparation of chemotherapy.
- Manage the procurement and supply of medicines to wards and departments including management of automated medicine dispensing units
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient dispensing records
- Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
- Provide support to patients and their families

**Essential**
- Can work full-time
- Previous pharmacy experience (Certificate III or IV) or a strong science-based background.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with all members of the health care team, patients and carers, contractors and vendors.
- An appreciation of the principles of medication safety.

**Desired**
- Experience in hospital pharmacy practice.
- Experience using Merlin dispense system
- Previous experience in an oncology-related environment.
- An understanding of the delivery of cancer care.
