change campaigns, and we are seeking a Digital Designer with strong UX and UI skills to join our
team.

The Digital Designer will create digital assets for various design projects, including websites, mobile
displays, using their strong creative background while working on our clients’ projects from concept to
completion. If required, the role is expected to work on various graphic design projects that you'd
expect in an integrated comms agency: advertising, branding, print and poster design, editorial, and
more.

Our office is based in South Melbourne. We work with various clients across government, non-profit
and private industry. We are full-service - including public relations, advertising, content, design,
technology, animation, film and audio production. Our skills are diverse, but we’re united by our

**Responsibilities**:
**What you will be doing**:

- Interpret briefs into design concepts that will deliver on our clients’ objectives.
- Work with cross-functional teams to take ideas from concept to execution, working with project managers, information technologists, content experts, and the broader creative team.
- Participate in exploratory research, user testing or both - demonstrate experience working in an iterative method with researchers, developers, content writers, QA testers etc.
- Produce high-quality design solutions through wireframes, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps and prototypes.
- Transform wireframes into intuitive user interfaces.
- Work with the Technology team to oversee the smooth design implementation, including providing detailed handover documentation to developers.
- Respond to diverse digital and web experience briefs, designing rich front-end experiences to ensure accessibility meets a specific compliance level, often WCAG 2.1.
- Develop data visualisation projects, bringing complex data stories to life.
- Collaborate in the generation of campaign ideas and concepts.
- Develop brand, editorial, environmental, and other print design projects and assist with overflow design work when required.
- Work closely with our creative teams, designers, producers, and suppliers to bring cross-channel campaign design assets to life.
- Champion and showcase innovative design approaches.

**Requirements**:

- A degree in digital design, graphic design, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience in a professional digital design role.
- A portfolio of previous digital design work to showcase experience and creativity.
- Demonstrate a user-led mindset; experience in strategic design would be highly regarded.
- Solid knowledge of design software programs like Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Ability to present design ideas and concepts for campaigns and projects with clarity.
- Interest in emerging technologies and innovative front-end solutions, whether used in a web environment, digital activation, etc.
- A team player with exceptional organisational and technical skills.
- Ability to work unsupervised, meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
- Knowledge of design systems and development frameworks.
- Skills in 3D/WebGL, game and motion graphics would be highly favourable.
- Knowledge of photography, retouching skills and image editing is desirable.
- Up-to-date knowledge about the latest digital design techniques and trends.
