Linehaul Planner Scheduler

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced linehaul scheduler planner who has successfully operated a regional pick-up and delivery operations with extensive knowledge of regional WA to join our Linehaul Team. You must have a passion for safety, customer service and satisfaction. Your desire to drive continuous improvement with your team sees you looking for efficiencies within the operation to contribute to the continued growth of the department and business.

Experience with temperature-controlled freight is desirable but not essential.

**Key Responsibilities Include**:

- Delivering on our service promise by ensuring scheduled departure targets are met ensuring delivery on time.
- Lead driver and vehicle planning to improve efficiency and provide transparency of fleet utilisation.
- Ensure the completeness and accuracy of driver’s paperwork.
- Provide clear direction and instructions to all drivers through pre trip briefings.
- Be pivotal in customer relationship management ensuring customer are kept informed. of any service delivery issues.
- Ensure all OHS legislative and WA driver fatigue requirements are adhered to.

**To be considered you will need**:

- Minimum 1-2 year’s demonstrated experience in a similar role within transport scheduling regional delivery & pick up services.
- Demonstrated understanding of the legislation and laws relating to the operation of heavy vehicles, fatigue management and vehicle weight restrictions (COR).
- Good regional Knowledge and planning skills for efficient route and load planning
- Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and deal with multiple activities simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Be flexible with working hours.
- Minimum intermediate level use of Microsoft Office Suite.
