Associate Nurse Unit Manager

Full time position - 76 hrs per fortnight (10 shifts)
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the leadership team in our busy Oncology Ward at John Fawkner Private Hospital. We are seeking a dynamic registered nurse to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone wanting to take the next step into management, or simply someone wanting a change from their current working environment.
As an Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) you will be responsible for assisting the NUM in efficient and effective management, coordinating the delivery of evidence based nursing care and be responsible for providing outstanding leadership and direction. The role requires a nurse with excellent clinical skills and effective time-management. An ability to liaise with all members of the healthcare team including clinical and non-clinical staff is essential.
Selection criteria:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage a dynamic and changing environment
- Proven leadership skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills
- ADAC competent
