We are seeking casual Security Officers to work in a range of roles at **The Sydney Royal Easter Show**.

Please note: this role requires Security Guards who have a valid NSW 1A Security Licence.

The Easter Show is a fun family event at Sydney Showground in Sydney Olympic Park where the bush comes to the city to compete in all sorts of events. Along with all the competitions is the entertainment, carnival rides, main arena performances and fireworks.

You will enjoy being part of making this exciting event happen and being part of the action. Depending on your training, experience and the position you are working, you will welcome people to the event, provide access control, check for restricted and prohibited items, roam through the crowd monitoring people, manage crowds, provide event and venue information, secure event perimeters and performance areas and protect people and assets. You will be part of large professional event team with years of experience who love working at The Easter Show.

- Provide general customer service including event information
- Control access at entry and exit
- Maintain conditions of entry
- Provide crowd direction and management

- Prepare general security records and reports

**Skills and experience**
- Must be available 8th March - 8th April
- Security License (NSW 1A)
- First Aid Certificate (current)
- Responsible Service of Alcohol Competency Card (current)
- Fire Warden (or willing to obtain)
- Traffic Control and Implement Traffic Management Plans Card (or willing to obtain)
- Flexibility (events are dynamic) and availability (events are frequently evenings and weekends)
- Enjoy working with people (customer centric approach)
- Reliability and punctuality
- Appreciate events, sport, and entertainment
