**About the role**
The Community Wellbeing team is to lead innovative community development practice in the strategic planning, management and integrated delivery of cost effective, high quality programs, services and projects including coordinate the provision of community development, advocacy, social inclusion, capacity building and community wellbeing initiatives.
This role will facilitate integrated and collaborative design and delivery of strategic projects, cultural awareness, education, celebrations, preventative initiatives and forge new partnerships relating to Culturally and Linguistically Diverse communities in order to; address issues, respond to identified needs, engage innovative practice and to optimise the delivery of community initiatives, early intervention, cultural and social support services and emerging special projects to foster wellbeing in the Inner West.

This position is a temporary full-time position up to 12 months.
**Remuneration**
$85,658.56 - $98,064.20 + Superannuation
**Some of the required skills, experience and qualifications**
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal communication, collaboration, community engagement and stakeholder management skills including negotiation, facilitation and advocacy skills
- High level analytical and problem-solving abilities with capacity to inspire or support innovative
thinking and continuous improvement to support diversity and inclusion of multicultural communities of the inner west
- Tertiary qualifications in Social Science, Community Development and human services provision or
a similar relevant qualification.
- Demonstrated understanding of and ability to assess issues affecting and / or impacting upon multicultural communities, awareness of the community sector, and knowledge of relevant Government legislation, standards and policies impacting the provision of community services.
