About the Role

Team Global Express is currently seeking an experienced Dockhand/Truck Driver (MR License preferred but not mandatory) with a LF Forklift License, to commence immediately at our Hobart location. This is a Full Time Permanent Position with the opportunity to jump on board with our dedicated Cambridge depot to service our major clients and customers.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements
- The Working Hours are Monday to Friday.
- Must have previous experience in a similar role.
- Must have good Microsoft office skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Must be able to drive a combination of Automatic and Manual Vehicles.
- Complete deliveries and pickups promptly by using the handheld scanner and according to time frames.
- Must be able to load and unload your own freight using a Forklift.
- Must have a safety-first approach and demonstrate WHS practices and procedures consistently.
- Follow and comply with company procedures, including hazard, near miss and incident reporting processes.
- Restraining loads safely as well as the correct use of straps where required
- Complete own vehicle pre-start checks.
- Weekend work available.

**About you**:
Skills & Experience
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Current and valid **manual **MR driver’s license with relevant driving experience.
- Current and valid forklift license.
- Experience with handheld barcode scanning devices.
- Experience in pick-up and delivery of general and express freight.
- Dangerous Goods awareness.
- Experience with radio communications systems.
- Experience with Load Restraint Systems & Equipment.
- Experience with restraining loads in accordance with National Transport Commission’s Load Restraint Guidelines.
