About the opportunity:
Under the guidance of the Assembly Co-ordinator, you will play a crucial role in the assembly and quality assurance of our products. Your responsibilities will include the assembly, inspection, testing, and packaging of GFB products, ensuring every customer gets nothing but the best.
Prior experience in assembly or manufacturing is advantageous but not essential. A mechanical inclination and proficiency with hand tools however will greatly contribute to your success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality inspection of components
- Product assembly
- Testing of completed products for quality assurance
- Packaging and labelling of finished products
- Maintain a tidy working environment
- Report quality, safety, or stock issues to the Assembly Co-ordinator
Skills and experience:
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to read and understand work instructions and diagrams
- Mechanical aptitude
- Quality focussed
- Strong communication skills and a team player
- Basic computer skills
- Sound physical fitness
- General hand tool or previous assembly experience will be highly regarded
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 - 38 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
Supplemental pay types:
