In joining this company, you would be part of a team dedicated to providing the most competent and best customer service in the fire protection industry.

The role will require a customer focused person to work closely with co-workers to install, modify and test fire detection and evacuation systems.

Ideally you will have an interest in electro-technology and installation of cables and associated equipment.

**About the role**:

- Work with a team installing a variety of systems.
- Wiring/connection of smoke detectors and warning speakers
- Accurately follow internal processes
- Complete service reports
- Use/update of job management system via iPad or iPhone

**Requirements**:
To be successful in this role you would also need the following demonstrated attributes:

- Keen learner that loves technology
- You will have a strong focus on customer service and a willingness to multi-skill and learn new aspects of fire protection.
- Strong communications skills
- Attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Hard working and be a self-starter / ability to work with little supervision.
- A mechanical or technical aptitude, tool and hand skills
- This active role also requires someone who is fit, agile and has no issues with climbing ladders for ceiling inspections etc. as required.
- In the selection process, you will also be required to consent to a police check for the role.

**Desirable (but not required)**:

- Previous experience in related industries like telecommunications, IT or security systems could easily have a fit for this role, providing you with a unique opportunity to move into another occupation and acquire additional skills.
- Austel/Cabling license
