**About Us**

**ROLE REQUIREMENTS**:
The Test Lead is responsible for the technical direction and quality assurance of of testing activities.

The Test Lead has the responsibility to lead multiple projects across domains in managing multiple test phases (System, SIT, UAT, Regression), engaging effectively with stakeholders across business and technical teams.

The role is accountable for the overall compliance of the domain testing with the organisational testing policies and procedures and provides quality assurance over releases to production. This requires hands on leadership of all relevant testing activities for the squad. The incumbent is also required to execute testing as part of squad delivery.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Strong technical leadership experience related to the testing discipline in a complex IT environment
- Lead/coach/develop/ motivate/manage testing to ensure team goals and objectives
- Prepare/Share/Maintain test approach, strategy, plans, test summary, and review and sign off
- Testing estimates & coordinate the execution of manual and automated tests
- Report progress, anomalies, risks and issues associated with the overall project
- Create & maintain traceability records, from test cases back to requirements
- Providing assurance for testing activities and setting standards for approval for release to production
- Monitoring test coverage and ensuring test automation suite is updated and maintained;

**Experience Required**:

- 7+ years with minimum of 3 years as test management and strong technical leadership experience. Excellent verbal, Written communication, excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Demonstrable experience with Agile delivery methodologies (SAFe, SCRUM etc)
- Ability to lead, coach, motivate and mentor team members in good testing practices.
- Significant experience and expertise in the field of functional and technical testing, including experience developing testing estimates, strategies, plans and methodology
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple priorities and tasks
- Demonstrated experience in communicating effectively with business stakeholders, vendors, technical specialists and management

**Desirable**:

- Experience in a superannuation or financial services environment
- Experience in Cloud Technology, CI/BDD, Test Automation and Non Functional Testing is a plus
