**The Opportunity**
Expressions of interest are invited from suitably qualified TAFE NSW staff for temporary full time backfilling opportunities for Head
Teacher - Leadership and Management/Human Resources/Project Management within the high performing Business Services team in the South Region. The key focus of this role is to coordinate the delivery of educational programs and to provide leadership and support to a team of teachers and support staff in accordance with TAFE NSW policy and external regulatory requirements.

You have the ambition and drive to succeed in leading and mentoring a passionate team, passing on your experience and knowledge to achieve positive outcomes. You have demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with the diverse range of internal stakeholders and industry partners.

**To be considered for the role you will have**:

- Diploma or above and vocational and or industrial experience, to be able to teach in one or more of the principal areas supervised by the head teacher position (Project management/leadership and management/Human Resources)
- Evidence of successful completion of an approved program of teacher education, or evidence of successful completion of an acceptable teaching qualification.
- Demonstrated qualities in leadership
- Thorough knowledge and technical expertise relevant to current teaching methods
