Whether it's temperature-controlled storage, specialized handling procedures, or fumigation requirements, our facility is equipped to handle the unique needs of perishable goods transportation with ease and efficiency.

We are seeking a dynamic and career focused Primary Products Inspector who needs to perform following tasks:

- Assessing animals, plants, and agricultural produce to pinpoint any quality issues and offering guidance to producers regarding improvement strategies.
- Overseeing and verifying quality protocols implemented at farms, as well as food handling and processing facilities, to ensure adherence to mandated standards.
- Conducting tests on produce samples to evaluate quality, size, and purity.
- Enforcing hygiene standards at storage, processing, and packaging facilities, along with ensuring compliance during transportation.
- Providing economic guidance to primary producers on disease eradication measures and disseminating information to producers and the public regarding health risks associated with diseases and impurities.
- Offering counsel on pest and disease identification, as well as regulations concerning product grading, packaging, and loading.
- Inspecting imported plants, animals, and various products such as timber, seeds, and dried fruits, and facilitating quarantine measures.
- Monitoring waterways to prevent illegal fishing activities and the unauthorized removal of protected marine life.
- Educating and advising on a wide array of topics concerning fish and their conservation.
- Initiating or assisting in legal proceedings to enforce regulatory compliance.

**To be successful in this role, it is essential you have**:

- Qualification
- AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma (ANZSCO Skill Level 2)
- Minimum Experience: 3+ Years Full time or Pro-rata paid work experience.
- The ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to patrol and investigate waterways to enforce fishing regulations and protect marine life.
- Passion for environmental conservation and commitment to promoting sustainable practices in agriculture and fisheries.

**Salary**: $70,000.00 per year
