**About The Role**

As a Finance Officer, you’ll be responsible for day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, bank and credit card reconciliations, and assisting with the preparation of month-end management accounts. You’ll also assist with monthly BAS and Payroll Tax lodgement. This role requires hands-on involvement and strong technical understanding

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Handling accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Performing bank and credit card reconciliations
- Assisting with the preparation and lodgement of BAS and Payroll Tax
- Assisting with payroll processing, including superannuation preparation and lodgement
- Understanding of prepayments and accruals
- Providing support for month-end close and financial reporting
- Utilising NetSuite ERP or similar systems in daily operations

**About You**:
**To be successful in this role, you will have**:

- At least 3 years of experience in a similar finance role
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication and experience dealing with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to identify potential scheduling conflicts and work with stakeholders to resolve them.
- Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and work independently.
- Excellent skills in MS Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook.
