**About the program**

The Prevention and Recovery Care (PARC) program is a collaborative service between Wellways and Eastern Health. A Wellways PARC offers an individualised approach to supporting recovery from mental health challenges. There are two PARC sites across Eastern Melbourne including Linwood PARC (Mont Albert) and Maroondah PARC (Ringwood East).

Our multidisciplinary recovery teams are creative, motivated and focused on ensuring positive experiences for participants and their loved ones. All our recovery services value cultural diversity, support and create opportunities for recovery, value peer participation and leadership and are underpinned by evidence-based best practice.

**About the opportunity**

This is a uniquely rewarding opportunity to connect with and inspire people in our community on their wellbeing journey.

The Peer Worker role is unique as it requires someone with a lived experience of mental health challenges to share their personal experiences of their recovery to engage and empower other individuals in their own pathway towards recovery.
