Crop Supervisor

- Previous farming exp. and basic supervisory + tractor operations
- Based in Perth, Tasmania

**THE OPPORTUNITY**

We have a newly created opportunity for a Crop Supervisor (Irrigation) to join our Nursery Team based in Perth, Tasmania. You will be responsible for providing general supervision to small teams and overseeing field operations (such as planting, trimming, training, spraying, harvesting and other related activities) with a specific focus on irrigation. You will also be ensuring day to day activities run smoothly and according to set plans (such as timing, quality and labour plans).
- Overseeing field workers (both direct/indirect) and assisting in rostering arrangements.
- Monitoring and reporting on day to day productivity and outputs to site management.
- Operating and conducting farm activities including the use of tractors, forklifts and other instruments.
- Ensuring correct procedures are applied in planting, trimming and other related activities.
- Monitoring of crops to ensure accurate timely irrigations.
- Setting up irrigation systems in accordance with irrigation programs to achieve adequate fertigation of plants to deliver high-quality plants.

**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**
- Previous experience working on a farm or nursery site is preferred
- Previous experience providing supervision to small teams
- Basic Excel and computer skills are essential
- Ability to work flexible hours and weekends as required
- Valid driver’s licence
- Unrestricted working rights
