Factory Foreman

Our company is located in western Sydney, and have been trading in the high-speed and PVC door market for over 55 years. We are manufacturers of flexible PVC doors and high-speed roll doors, and partner with some overseas suppliers, and have grown to be one of the leading specialist door companies in Australia. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated person to join our manufacturing team, as a leader in one of our factories.

Key responsibilities for this role will include:

- Hands on and supervisory role in the manufacture of specialist bespoke high-speed doors.
- Monitoring work flows and job allocations to factory staff
- Maintaining a safe and clean factory
- Reporting will be to the Operations Mgr
- Working with the Service Mgr to co-ordinate manufacture of custom replacement parts for doors

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

- Excellent communication skills and “hands on” practical experience
- Attention to detail and organised nature
- A suitable workshop or factory background would be desirable but not essential.
- Basic ability to read technical drawings.
- Ability to work unsupervised, and to lead a small team.

**Salary**: $35.30 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:
